Pricing and payment

Book Now: a card hold, charged after the service. Scheduled: a deposit confirms it, with the balance after. Exact amounts show before you confirm.

Before you download.
Is service available near me?
Anyone can download the app on iPhone or Android. Local service depends on participating detailers near you, and we're growing city by city — so a request in a new area may not receive offers yet. Email us to ask about your city.
How does offering a price work?
You pick a service and set the price you're willing to pay, at or above the minimum shown in the app. Nearby detailers can accept your price or send one counteroffer. Nothing is booked until you choose.
Can I schedule for later?
Yes. On the offer step, choose “As soon as possible” or “Schedule for later” and pick a date and time. Detailers can accept, counter, or pass — availability depends on detailers in your area.
When do I pay?
There's no charge when you send a request. For Book Now, you authorize a card hold after choosing a detailer — a hold reserves the amount and isn't a charge; you're charged after the service is complete. Scheduled appointments use a deposit to confirm, with the balance after the service. The app shows the exact amounts before you confirm, and fees, cancellations and refunds follow our Terms of Service.
Can I request a previous detailer?
Yes, with Book Again. Your previous detailer gets the first chance to respond to your new request. It doesn't guarantee they're available — you can open the request to other nearby detailers at any time.
How do I apply as a detailer?
Download Tap2Detail, choose “I'm a detailer”, and complete your application with your profile, services, service area and work photos. Tap2Detail reviews every application. Once approved, you finish Stripe payout setup and required account details before you can go online.
